Catador Itinerante is a true phenomenon. When founder Pablo Goldbarg turned 50 years old, he went to Europe to celebrate and explore distilleries. Not Scotch distilleries, but those producing what we now call “world whisky” in countries like Austria, Germany, and beyond. The trip wasn’t just for pleasure; it was also a way to test the waters for an idea he was developing: to launch the world’s first independent bottler dedicated exclusively to world whiskies. And if his first handful of releases are any indication, this is going to be an essential independent bottler to watch.
