ARDNAMURCHAN - PEATED SAUTERNES CASK
From the Distillery: After the incredible response to our previous unpeated Sauternes expression, we’ve listened to your requests – and here it is: the AD/ Sauternes Release, Peated. This limited-edition bottling marries our 100% peated spirit with the opulence of Sauternes casks, creating a truly distinctive Ardnamurchan experience.
From a batch of just 8,460 bottles, 29 ex-Bourbon casks (aged for three years) were carefully re-racked into ex-Sauternes barriques for an additional three and a half years, resulting in a whisky of extraordinary character. Bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered, and natural in colour (as with all of our whiskies), this release won’t be collecting dust on shelves.
