A note from Drammers Club: We’ve long been huge fans of this distillery, and even made a point to visit in person when they released their very first batches of bourbon and rye a few years ago.  They have emerged as one of the most exciting, talked-about and sought-after new rye distilleries in the market, with an entirely sweet mash process.  

Our club picked 3 barrels of their rye (including this one) together during our virtual distillery tour event.  We went to the event wanting to pick one barrel, but we liked what we tasted so much, we ended up picking 3 single barrels, all exclusively available to members of our club:  the first is a particularly delicious rye cask, the second is an unusual rye that had to be double-oaked when a problem emerged with the first barrel (they don’t double-barrel their ryes normally and have only done a few to date), and we were able to secure one of only 3 barrels they did as their very first experimental release -- a rye finished in a Copper & Kings absinthe cask, which was previously only available at their distillery gift shop!  You can see the full video of how we selected these casks, the various club members tasting notes and opinions etc. here at Drammers.com under the Video Library tab.
