From the Distillery: 25 Gallon Bourbon casks also filled in 2020 (note: 25 gallon casks are no longer purchased by the distillery). This bottling serves to create a comparison to “The Battle of White Plains.” With incrementally fewer units of wood per unit of New Make Spirit, this bottling is functionally just as old but demonstrates the role played by the volume of the vessel aging the whisky. Which one do you like better and why? 

• ABV: 46%, Bottle Strength

• Nose: Vanilla, soft brown sugar and tobacco

• Taste/Finish: Soft sweet toffee. Dry black pepper finish and some toasted light brown sugar

• Age Statement: 4 Years

• Bottling: This expression will not be numbered
