TASTING NOTES

NOSE: Ripe apricot and Bartlett pear reside behind toasted oak and malted barley while warm croissants and quince jelly appear over time.

PALATE: Pronounced malt to the front with charred oak, fresh linens, roasted chestnuts, warm river rocks, caramel sauce, and miso all in the mix – this is a whisky for umami fans!

FINISH: Long and complex with miso, charred oak, and salted, roasted cashews.

From the Brand: Fettercairn is for the whisky adventurer! We always find a bizarre mixtures of flavors in Fettercairn but it all works so well, especially in this cask. There’s a roasted chestnut note in here that’s unmistakable and glorious. If you’ve ever guessed Fettercairn this is the bottle to show you what their distillate can do.
