Bottled in Bond is a single-season, vintage-dated expression of our Tennessee High Malt style. Each vintage is crafted from a wide selection of unique bourbon mash bills - all made within the same distilling season - and each comprised of at least 25% specialty malted grains. The result is an innovative approach to one of our industry’s most time-honored quality standards - showcasing depth and complexity that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Fall 2020 Vintage: Barreled from July-December 2020
Mash Bill: 40% SB055, 40% B005, 20% SB101
Age: Greater than 4 years
Proof: 100 (50% ALC/VOL)
Fermentation: Attemperated, 7 days
Cooperage: Toasted & Charred Oak, 53 gallon
Batch Size: 10-12 barrels
Filtration: Non-chill
Style: Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Tasting Notes: Oatmeal raisin cookie, root beer, chocolate malt, pecan pie, and sweet hay. Full bodied and approachable.
