The Drumshanbo Marsala Cask is the launch of The Shed Distillery's 7-year-old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, featuring a blend of malted and unmalted Irish barley and Irish oats, triple pot still distilled, and fully matured in Sicilian Marsala wine casks for over seven years before its release in late 2024. The whiskey, which was approved by Head Distiller Brian Taft, offers a complex profile with notes of clove, honey, sun-ripened fruit, dried fruits, spiced oak, and lingering Marsala wine characteristics.
