Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon
We absolutely love this distillery, which has a rich, storied history dating back to the days when it was owned and operated by the Medley family. It is located in Owensboro, in the West of Kentucky, where it was founded in 1885. Although it was not as well known in recent decades, that all changed when Bardstown Bourbon Co. acquired it in 2022 and relaunched the brand across the US.
Reportedly aged 4-6 years. The mash bill we’re told is 70% Kentucky Grown Corn, 21% Wheat, 9% Malted Barley.
