Located right in the heart of Edinburgh, this exciting new distillery has only recently become available inthe United States. They have been making big waves even in the lead up to this moment with their remarkably creative experiments at the new make level, playing around with a wide variety of yeasts, mashbills, etc. These releases are not core range offerings, rather they are one-off batches (sizable, but still one-off) that are not expected to return once they run out.

From the Distillery: Embra presents a smooth balance of smoky flavours and rich textures. Featuring a diverse range of yeasts, including two distillers strains, three brewers yeasts, and two wine yeasts.  Embra is an ideal introduction to peat, while still delivering the smoky depth peat drinkers love.
