From the Brand: Aged 5 years, McConnell’s fine blend of Irish malt and grain whiskies have been gently rested in select bourbon casks, bringing beautiful overtones of vanilla sweetness with the quality of the finest Irish spirit in the background. Creamy, citrus, floral, and fruity. This blend of malted barley and grain has been carefully crafted by our award-winning Master Blender & Master Distiller Graeme Miller, to create our signature harmony of flavour to be enjoyed in our iconic 5 year old whisky. The handpicked ex-bourbon barrels that age the whisky add the delicate and subtle sweetness. The barrels provide a deep oak woodiness and light char to the finish.
