From the Brand: Aged for 5 years in select bourbon barrels, it is then finished in the finest Oloroso Sherry casks which bring out rich aromas of dried figs, dark chocolate and lingering spice. Our Oloroso Sherry casks are specially selected by Master Distiller Graeme Millar. They play an essential role in shaping the character of our whisky. The rustic wood allows for increased interaction between the whisky and the sherry soaked staves resulting in our rich and complex flavour profile. Once used in the maturation of Spanish Oloroso Sherry, a rich and nutty fortified wine, the influence of Oloroso Sherry Casks adds a layer of sophistication and depth..
