From the Distillery: Mouth-filling “dessert bomb” barrels of a proprietary bourbon mashbill forms this experimental batch, aged in a frigid Canadian warehouse. This four-grain whiskey, matured in American oak and French oak, astounds the palate with its transformation between 14 and 15 years. Expect notes of caramel, butterscotch, and toasted almond; like a fine wine, it continues to evolve after 15 minutes in the glass, revealing a viscous mouthfeel and a buttery brown sugar, toasted oak finish. Despite its shockingly high proof, this whiskey remains smooth, round, and rich—fooling even seasoned palates.
