Lively and inviting out of the glass, this whisky is packed with roasted, caramelized orchard fruits plus baking spice and candied citrus zest. The palate is warm and welcoming and confectionary, balancing chewy cereal grain with candied fennel and milk chocolate. The finish is compact, but with an unmistakable call to another sip.

George Washington’s daring crossing of the icy Delaware river—a moment of desperation for the Continental army, now firmly a part of American iconography—would lead to the Battle of Trenton, a significant victory that would lift the spirits of the young nation. For this release, Tenmile employs a classic bourbon-sherry maturation regimen, suiting this whisky to celebration by combining from the Old World and spirits uniquely American.
