14th release in the Revolutionary Series

From the Distillery:
Age: 5 years
100% NY State Barley
Notes: Fortress West Point is nearly six-year-olds (5 and 3/4’s). It is aged entirely in ex-bourbon casks and we hope it will set a standard for the category of American Single Malt going forward. With notes of vanilla and honey, Fortress West Point should be enjoyed while remembering those who serve our country.
Tenmile Distillery has a new collectible series of whiskies called the Revolutionary Series which honors the 250 anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. Fortress West Point is the 14th release and 3 more will be released this year. Each of the 57 bottles in the series (55 battles, plus two unique pivotal figures) will carry its own specialized label detailing an aspect of those pivotal moments in time where America either lived to fight another day or became a footnote in history. Just as the crafters of the Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution looked to the principles of the Enlightenment and drew Democracy from the past into today, so too does Tenmile Distillery pull techniques from the past to create a golden era spirit, The Whisky of Reason.
